William Jaeger is a professor in the Department of Applied Economics at Oregon State University. His teaching and research areas include environmental and resource economics and public policy. His work includes a range of policy-related areas such as water, land use, energy, economic development, agriculture, environmental taxation, and sustainability. He taught for twelve years at Williams College before coming to Oregon State University in 2001. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence Italy in 2016, and a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Venice, Italy in 2007. He has taught at the University of Washington and the University of Oregon, and was a research economist at the World Bank.
